Blinc Eye Care is a private, family-owned optometry office.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality eye care and eye wear as well as superb customer service.
As a newer business, we are growing fast and are looking for an additional staff member to help us thrive.
This means somebody who is a team player, reliable, a quick learner, great at multitasking and following directions, has a very strong work ethic, and genuinely enjoys helping others.
Experience in the optical/medical field is not required.
We PREFER that our hires have ZERO EXPERIENCE in the optical field, as we will provide all training needed.
Job responsibilities include (after training):
-Greeting and checking patients in -Handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
-Keeping patient flow moving in a timely maner.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and reception area.
-Perform examination pretesting -Train patients how to use their contact lenses -Assisting the doctor -Scheduling appointments -Assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, faxing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
-Authorizing and submitting patient insurances -Helping patients pick out the perfect frames -Office cleaning and organization The learning opportunities and room for growth are endless with this position.
