ALLAMON TOOL COMPANY ALLAMON TOOL COMPANY Montgomery, TX Montgomery, TX Full-time Full-time $48,000 - $70,000 a year $48,000 - $70,000 a year The primary responsibility of this position is to utilize techniques and tools to plan, schedule, coordinate, while executing purchasing and production activities, including new order processing; work order creation; raw material procurement; shop scheduling; and purchasing activities for the procurement of materials, supplies and services.
Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote work position.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate all order interfaces with multiple departments, management, suppliers, and stakeholders Execute supply chain efforts of the Manufacturing Department to ensure procurement activities and output is cost-effective and meets quality standards Collect, review, and initiate orders to supply product(s) from forecast, replenishment plans, sales proposals, or other means that generate demand Asses and secure optimal supply chains to optimize sustainability, capacity, quality, and cost effectiveness Generate and distribute quotes, purchase orders, production orders, and schedules Maximize and balance internal production capacity with Production Manager and Production Coordinator Monitor inventory requirements to identify shortages, discrepancies, and excess stock Analyze, evaluate, and coordinate supplier response and performance review to determine supplier selection Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and production team with systems, tools, and processes to optimize timely delivery, minimal cost, and product quality Interact with suppliers and production team to ensure accuracy of production activities, budgets, and schedules Review reported data and participate in efforts to improve supply chain tools and techniques which impact delivery time, cost, and quality Maintain timely control of orders, change orders, shipping notices, NCR's, invoice discrepancies, and other documents to assure record retention accuracy Support various business units with the collection, retention, and maintenance of documentation that provide order process life cycle details Ensure data maintenance is accurate for adequate work instruction, controls, and communication Support Inventory Management with analysis, reporting, and physical count participation Identify bottlenecks and provide suggestions for continuous improvement Other order management related requirements as assigned by manager University degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (or) Minimum 5 years of experience in a planner or buyer role.
Minimum 3 years of experience with ERP and MRP system.
Broad base technical understanding of relative commodities.
High level of understanding of Quality Initiatives.
