Vehicle Description This GT500KR is a one-owner vehicle in excellent condition and garage kept, and never on a track.
Only several minor blemishes exist and normal wear typical of weekend driving.
The glove box cover was signed by Carroll Shelby.
This vehicle comes with the original window sticker and Shelby certificate indicating build number 387 out of 1011 for 2008.
Also with this car is a hard to find new-in-box Shelby GT500KR factory wheel and the original brake duct kit.
Starting life as Shelby GT500s built in Flat Rock, Michigan, the cars are transported by rail to Shelby Automobiles in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they are upgraded to KR specifications before delivery directly to buyers in the same fashion as the Ford GT.
This is a 40th Anniversary limited production upgrade to the Shelby GT500.
In 2008 Shelby American International planned to build 1000 GT500KR cars to be sold in the United States.
